Holidaying abroad?

The cost of holidaying in Europe will soar this year as the value of the pound continues to slump against the euro, analysts have warned.

The strength of the euro means travellers are already paying far more for accommodation, food and shopping compared with last year.

And there will be no let-up in the months ahead.

Oh ekk, and we were thinking of booking a holiday up in Fuerteventura for later on in the year.

Might have to rethink :(

lol does that mean it would be cheaper to go outside the EU, then get a flight from there, to where you want to holiday, and then from there back home?

Shoppers were hit with yet more money woes when the pound slumped to an all-time low against the euro.

Tens of thousands of people heading for Europe on holiday will feel it in their wallets – anyone taking £1,000 to spend abroad will get €200 less than they would have done a year ago.

We usually do the all inclusive when we go abroad but you do need a day or two out of it like Ray says
